Can you Beat Beethoven? Everyone knows Beethoven as one of the most famous and influential composers of all time, but did you know he was also an avid runner? That’s right, Beethoven loves to run and he’s challenging you to a race at the revamped annual Beat Beethoven 5k on March 28, 2015 at 9:00am at Noble Park.
Here’s the details…Beethoven is a fierce competitior and has been training to run a sub 30:00 minute 5K. That’s pretty fast for a guy his age. Sign up and you can run with the famous composer! Anyone who “Beats Beethoven” will receive a complimentary ticket to the PSO’s season ending concert Carmina Burana.
In addition to the 5K, there will also be a 1 Mile Youth Run.
Whether you race Beethoven or run/walk leisurely, you are invited and encouraged to participate in this fun event benefiting the Paducah Symphony Orchestra. Make plans to bring the whole family!
(Beethoven will be available for photos and autographs after the race)
