Master Classes & Private Lessons

The Paducah Symphony Orchestra announces Master Classes and Private Lessons for Middle and High School Students.

Taught by professional musicians from the PSO orchestra, classes and lessons will focus on All-District and All-State audition music and will take place on the following Saturday mornings at centrally located public schools in Paducah:

October 15 – Lone Oak Middle School
November 5 – McCracken County High School
(must register for both)

Participating students will receive family passes to the PSO concerts held on these same dates.

Master Classes and Private Lessons are available for the following instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba and Percussion.

       Master Classes for High School Students:          9:00-10:00 a.m.
Master Classes for Middle School Students: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Private Lessons – Middle & High School Students: 11:00 a.m.

Private Lessons only are available for Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass at these times: 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m.,10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.

Registration Fees
Master Classes: Two monthly payments of $40
Private Lessons: Two monthly payments of $60

(During the spring semester, private lessons will take place on February 18, March 11 and April 22. No master classes will be offered.)
